Assignment 2 - several points in a deliberate shape

I needed good lighting for this image so set up my shoot by the large patio windows in my lounge, I used brown velvet as a background on a beanbag cube which allowed me to mould the shape into the velvet a little, although it was a little challenging to encorage the flower heads, which had a diameter of around 1cm, to sit flat. I used my 18 – 75mm lens with close up lenses stacked and a focal length of 37mm, my aperture priority was set at f/9, shutter speed 1/49 sec, ISO 400. I took a number of images including an image with an additional flower head in the middle of the circle, it looked ok but the dark background set off the flower in a circle better I felt. Post production the image was cropped to enclose the circle, also flecks of dust/cotton on the background removed using Photoshop Elements.
