For this image I set up a room with reasonable light, a
table and my tripod. I had purchased gerberas for the task of hopefully
capturing an image good enough for my assignment. I remembered my tutors
feedback regarding a previous image where spraying a little water on the
subject was sugested, so my water spray was also at hand. I had several attempts at gettng a close up,
I added my close up lenses to get close enough to get a close up with the
centre of the flower off centre to the bottom right of the frame for my single
point, the focal length for this image was 52mm. I set my camera to aperture
priority f/5.6, shutter speed 1/64 sec and ISO 1250. After several attepmts I took
an image I was happy with, although on further inspection I noticed a stray
flower stalk in the back ground, had the stalk been at the right angle it would
have been acceptable to leave it but it wasn’t, I re took this final image.
