Assignment 2 - distinct irregular shapes

I purchased this bunch of tulips with the view of taking a photo for my assignment, they were in bud when I purchased them but left my camera set up with the tripod with a focal length of 18mm, and took an image every day until I felt they were just perfect. My camera was set to aperture priority f/8, shutter speed 1/8 sec and an ISO of 1600.
I used Photoshop Elements to increase the colour saturation slightly, which deepened the colour of the tulips and leaves.
