If the point, ie the duck, was in the centre of the frame the composition would be of a static nature, but with the duck being a little off centre, there is a direction of movement making the composition more acceptaqble. I feel the position of the duck, being a little off centre works ok as the water depicts the direction of the duck balancing out the frame.
