The horizon is placed almost centrally, the equal division of the frame creates a static composition, there is detail to be seen with the lake and island with some grass and woodland in the distance, the reeds at the bottom seem to be cut off especially with the gap in the reeds to the left of the pictture whch makes the bottom of the photograph seem a little off balance
